WAS Benson Side Arm Floor Lamp with Reflector Shade
A collaboration piece. The framework of this floor lamp is an original piece by WAS Benson. The reflector shade has been hand crafted by Ashby Lighting and is based on a WAS Benson light shade.
The reflector shade can be purchased separately as a pendant light.
Floor lamp is manufactured from brass with a simple circular base and reeded stem, the side arm is fitted with the original Benson switch.

Based on a design by WAS Benson, the shade has been constructed in our South Derbyshire workshop. Eight sections of brass are configured at a precise angle to form a symetrical shade. William Benson designed the original shade out of a desire to create a shade which conceal the light source yet would filter the light through
