‘Perry’ Large Art Deco Opaline Glass School House Light

A large white glass pendant light dating back to the early 20th century.  Fitted with a flat topped aged brass gallery which is in original and untouched condition and almost blackened with age.

Opaline white glass became very popular during the Art Deco period and was produced in many different shapes and styles.  Geometric designs and simple shapes were typical of the Art Deco  period. This style was often seen in public buildings such as schools, libraries and offices.

To personalise our white glass lighting we give them individual names.  This one has been named ‘PERRY’.

Wired with 1 metre of black  fabric twisted cable.   Other colours are available on request.

This light will be wired to order with a new B22 bulb holder and PAT tested prior to dispatch.

Suspension chain and hooked ceiling plate supplied.
