The Spring light is based on a clever design by WAS Benson and named the spring light because the brass hanger is a simple spring fitting which enables the three twisted prongs to be compressed to fit inside the opening on the glass shade…and compressed again to allow the shade to be removed for changing the bulb. The brass hanger houses a delicate copper tulip…another nod towards its spring name.
Once again, we have asked our very talented glass blower to create a new design for us. The vaseline glass teardrop shade echoes the styles of the early 20th-century glass makers.
A beautifully unique and delicate light fitting which really is as much a work of art as it is a light.
