We have some exciting news to announce! In September Ashby Interiors will be opening the doors on our first shop! An opportunity came along which we just couldn’t turn down. The perfect shop became available in Melbourne, South Derbyshire. This is where our business was born back in 2014 and where we have our workshop.
As you may know, we aren’t currently open to the public – only by appointment. So, to be able to have a shop, gives us a fabulous opportunity to display the very best of our stock to our customers.
Our shop will of course be selling our restored antique lighting. We specialise in Art Deco white glass lighting, vintage Holophane lighting and also antique chandeliers and lighting from the Art Nouveau period. Of course, there will also be items from our Ashby Aero range, so aeronautical antiques and upcycled aviation pieces will be displayed too.
Melbourne is a beautiful market town with so many lovely shops to browse, pubs and restaurants to visit and is also a starting point for some beautiful countryside walks. We hope that those of you living outside of Derby will find it more than worth making the trip once we open our doors.
