This beautiful copper petal light fitting is part of our handmade Ashby Collection. It is always admired by visitors to the showroom!
It is based on a design by the Arts and Crafts designer WAS Benson. This light fitting is a delicate and versatile piece which can be matched to many different glass light shades. As you can see in the photo, it really does look stunning with either an antique vaseline glass shade, a cranberry glass shade or cut glass.
We have a huge range of antique light shades at our workshop. Come and visit by appointment to select the perfect one for you. We can offer antique glass shades or vaseline glass shades made especially for us by our artisan glass blower.
This fitting can also be given a very different appearance by darkening areas of the copper and brass with an antiquing solution and highly polishing the copper on the lower petals only. This method gives an eye-catching contrast which really enhances the beauty of the piece.
